About FNTC
Established by the First Nations Fiscal and Statistical Management Act (FSMA), the First Nations Tax Commission (FNTC) is a shared-governance First Nation public institution with legislative powers to regulate the on-reserve property tax system.  It ensures that the First Nation property tax system is administratively efficient, harmonized with the rest of the country, and is fair to on-reserve taxpayers.
